I joined Ignite because I was interested in what Geoff and Sandra Ryan said about what God expects of us, and what is worship etc at the Unlimited conference in Brisbane last year. I looked them up on the web, and found out about Ignite, which looked like a good way to learn about ministering in community, and finding out about mission etc.
